I use 6' to 7' cords with swivels and a long hitch in nylon or neoprene

Depending on the cock, how active and strong he is, normally 4 to 5 months. They Never get off the cord, I move them around to other cords and swap legs. I don't put my broodfowl on cords.

I got a dom that is 1/2 KY dom and 1/2 another type of dom that is pea combed from a guy in Dixon, MO. I do not know if he is breeding only within a line with his breeders. When I visited he was making reciprocal crosses.
