A lot of mine are starting to molt too. Almost a month early for me here.

Centra if the wounds aren't to deep Blu cote will work fine, I would definitely quarantine them for a few days to restrict their movement. 2cc of penicillin will help with any infection. If they're small hens use 1.5cc Hope you can save them buddy

I had a hen get a pretty good chunk taken out of her shoulder last night. I didn't get a good look at it till tonight. I'm not real optimistic as to her chances after getting a better look. I gotta try though, she's one of my favorites. the only one with a name (rhymes with witch, lol).
she disappeared a few days ago, I had a pretty idea she was setting somewhere, but couldn't find her.
I caught a raccoon in a box trap, I heard the door slam shut, so I went out and took care of it, reset the trap, and went back to relaxing.
an hour later, I heard screaming, got up and went looking with no success.
a couple minutes later, she came blasting out of the bush, took awhile for me to catch her, and she screamed the whole time I was holding her.
tonight she was a little easier to handle, not much though,
caught another raccoon tonight, smaller female.

Might be a possum. Raccoon usually would have killed her I would think.
