What are you running in your lines to prevent/inhibit algae growth?
nothing . It is only turned on when sprinklers come on... I've never had problems with algae in my sprinkler or dripper lines...

I am more worried about the sun heating up the black dripper lines, dispensing boiling water to my chickens.. I tried burying a lot of the line, but some is still exposed.

Don't be lazy and just use milk jugs. It's free exercise.
