regulating temp and humidity I don't think would be a problem where I'm at. What kind of bedding is usually used?

As long as they have heat source and humidity, they're fine..

Aspen chips, no cedar... for monitors, you can use the large chunks like mulch or bark chips...

Or sand substrate and a cat litter scoop... their urea can definitely be much worse than birds, lol... but with just the one, keeping the enclosure cleaned up isn't hard...

No no no shavings no oh, and no
Black and White tegu is in the lead. From the limited research so far they seem generally most docile. And his name will be puff.

On average, yes they are... and trainable to harness and leash, lol... the one I took care of was a rescue, poor thing was starved to a bare skeleton... he never forgot the first person to feed him though, would puff up and stalk me anytime he saw me, even a couple years later...

Had iguana for years living in my room when I was a kid/teen. About 3ft long with tail. Ate veggies though so poo wasnt too bad.

Think found new home, but he was chill and pretty smart

compact body, rounder type, mid station fly better from what I have seen.

My wild type games are good flyers. Bred towards red jungle fowl size and traits.

I am inclined to agree, my Jungle Fowl hen could fly high and long... none of the other chickens could match her. Now the big heavy breeds are more land lovers... I was looking at a comparison between Dino body and a chicken an the wing/front limb placement... the ultimate runner chicken needs a different design too... chicken races :lau

But I was pondering if some of the shift in wing postition in larger meat birds is because of changes in their skeleton towards ground dwellers which of course we see as a fault... just wondering along those likes.

I think to much... need space to experiment muwahaha.
