My favorite thing to see was half dozen doing that while covered by mud in the hog lot. Especially after figuring they doing that all day while I was a school. Half would be so dinged up they could not see well enough to find way to get out lot, let alone find someone else to fight with. They would be my projects to get straightened up by spring.

Just as caught them in this state, a slightly older stag was walking up to them; was gonna whoop them both I suspect.... but back off because he doesnt like me too close.

I dont think I have ever had a rumble royal in my yard.
I could see it happening if they are all the same age... and something like rain causing them to see their peers as new intruders.
