A lot of the urban critters are trap-wise because so frequently targeted. Density for critters also higher in town than out where I am. The abundant night life options also distract one from necessary time investment needed to deal with predators.
I agree but like I said all the goofy deterrents people use educate and make the predators more wary when in the area. Resulting in a harder to trap animal

When I see wariness in town, it is to avoid traps, not to avoid the homes. Coyotes here will walk down the side walk and sniff butts with a dog on a leash and being walked by a person. The person sees the coyote that slipped its collar or does not see it all. The sickness is deeper than you know.

No, many people simply do not recognize wildlife when they see it. Bobcats hunt rabbits in peoples back yards in Jefferson City, the capitol of Missouri, yet they are thought of as only something you see in the deep woods away from humanity.

Ha I can only imagine.

how do you guys make your hens easier to handle? mine arent flighty, they will walk right by my side and will eat out of my hand but if i go to reach for one to pick them up they arent having anything to do with it. im not trying to pet and love on them but it would be nice to be able to catch them and put them in pens or whatever when i feel like it
