Hi everyone sorry to interrupt was just wondering if anybody know of any breeders in South Africa that have American Gamefowl i am desperate to gets some..

cause he is BBR

What is this guy? Most all of my hens look like the hen in the edge of the 2nd photo, similar to the color of BCM hens.
The hen is Brown Red variety and could be any of the following (MUG-Wingate-Sid Taylor-MelSimsBlack-McRae-WarHoss-TarBaby-TombstoneBR)or another one of the Brown Red Variety.

One can create Brown Reds by crossing Blacks with Black Breasted Reds . I used to do this using Hatch over black Sid Talor hens and they were beautiful .

Your cock kinda hints of Brown Red blood but does not show it cause he has white or yellow legs and cause he is BBR(BlackBreastedRed) . He could be one of several BB Red's (like WhiteHackle-Kelso-Claret-Albany-Butcher-Radio-Murphy-etc).

I must say he is a beautiful rooster !
Thanks for posting .

Quote: I did not know there could be a Brown Red version of Pyle (that would be some kind of a stretch) lol (trying to wrap my mind around that) .
But now with all the new Old English Game Bantam show bird varieties being created 'it could very well be one is out there' (?).
Show Old English Bantams is in a world of it's own ..

I have had two "kinds" of brown-breasted brown reds that when bred to black-breasted reds gave brown-breasted brown red or what we called dirty hatch colored. The dirty hatch birds I still have. Same birds producing the dirty hatch cross threw redquill when bred to the other brown-breasted brown reds.
