if that water is less than 16" that layout I got with adjustable legs will get you into birds no problem with conditions like that

last I measured it was at 8.5 at its highest as in rainfall amount up to about an inch from the top of my mud boots at the deepest in my yard

rooster crowing is music to my ears. Everybody that comes over here always asks me if all the noise bothers me. I just look at them like they lost their mind. I would rather listen to roosters than sirens and bumping music etc...
If a rooster crow keeps you from sleeping it's time for more exercise

Nah In the yard in the water. The mower I know, the weedeater Polly is on a trailer out back that's usually where I put it when finished with the pen area. Edit weedeater ok

see that's why I don't have an electric fence. I couldn't tell you how many times I've tripped and fell up against my fence. I would be getting shocked constantly.

Agreed. I enjoy the crowing. Hate bumping music... I like sirens because it gets my dog howling, and I howl with them to get them all hyped up. its funny.

My wife works the night shift, so she has to sleep during the day. But yeah she needs to exercise more. lol

I don't like when they all go into that panic cackling. I get all stressed out and run outside to see if anything is wrong.
