@sdm111 you may think it’s nice to still be off but I’m sitting in a tree stand at 36 degrees and raining. No hunting houses here lol

I hit the ground running had people waiting on me. Even had someone come up to me at the gas pump before work. I couldn't imagine what I'd walk into after 2 weeks lol

Every other year or so I take two weeks. All I do is hunt usually. It’s a nightmare going back believe me. I had to take the same two orders again today as last week. Some just don’t wanna deal with anyone else. I’m in the stand hunting and phone is nonstop vibrating.

Just got back from the store. I’m getting the father of the year award. My son puts the doe in estrous up on the counter to pay. He says to the cashier “we’re getting the big bottle of deer piss” haha. No idea where he heard that from lol

I’m waiting on that bigger buck I saw going on two weeks ago. I don’t wanna shoot a doe and burn up the area but I ain’t passing up any mature does anymore.
Screw around and end my season with one doe If I ain’t careful.
