15months on the 20th.

My son plays with his hot wheels still but I got a whole bunch of toys for younger kids that need to go.

My birds aren't starved I assure you that if anything they are a bit heavy. My birds love the deer meat I give them as well.

I definitely try to keep my birds hungry. They should be flocking to me for food when I get home... I also keep my dogs and myself hungry too... its better for everything.

Ham/shoulder you name it they love it. Not back straps though, I just give the the cuts or scraps we don't use.

And with winter here I try to feed them a bit more not a lot but some.

I feed about a Masson jar and a 1/4 a day now if they are being wasteful I let them clean up for a day. I gotta go get more feed here soon I'm running low.

I feed more scratch in the evening or just a little corn.

Not saying that this is they best way... just how I've been raised and how I've done it.

I have reasons for what I do, but always learning and willing to try new tactics. Obviously as you get older, people try to refine and use what works.

Seeing the current state of American obesity and the plethora of sausage body dogs, I think a little hunger could do us some good. This is what my dad taught me..

I dont have one fat, diabetic or disabled person in my entire extended family.
