My combs are all over the place, but I think its because I cross breed. Which one is the best probably depends how you handle combs...

For dubbing the thin peas are probably the easiest ..., for heat dissipation I would think a thick straight comb would be the best. For preventing frostbite I think some kind of thick rose comb would be best.

Very nice. Have you let any go to seed? I do not smoke, but have always liked tobacco plants. This past year I picked up some starts up at the farmers market and they had a pale yellow bloom. I have some seeds from Hawaii that is a bigger plant with bright pink blooms. Supposedly, it was brought to the islands by the first "settlers" and now grows wild.

Ya this is actually wild tree tobacco that grows out here naturally. They grow like weeds but I keep the producers trimmed down to one stem so they grow new shoots with big leaves.
I keep two mother trees for seeding the yard (they are about 10ft tall).
