Crowing
Make you some charts like these and start it with your original pair for each family. I use toe marks, nose marks, wing bands, and leg bands. Each hen or cock is named by their wing band and family name.

You never know, when you want to repeat a bred pair that you made 2 years ago then you got it. One of my buddies transferred all his records to a laptop 6 years ago, then 3 years later his laptop crashed with no backups ever saved. He went back to old school because it is fail safe. Now his years (20+) of breeding is gone, I can't laugh because I know how he felt with his stomach all knotted up. When I split up with my first wife in the late 80s, I was working on a drilling rig in the gulf she trashed all my records before I could get all my belongings. I sold or gave away almost all of my fowl except some special trios I took to my brother and one best friend. No one will ever breed the same as you, ever! So if you can find a buddy to share your broodfowl with y'all can trade out stags and pullets later down the road, it's almost like making a cross but with the same blood. Thanks pen I do try to write everything down haha where and when I got it, phone numbers, crosses, what hatched etc etc as I'm very forgetful.
Yes sirTo be clear you want low
