Use the loader bud.
Muzzleloader is done. Shotgun runs from 13-20th though. I would rather hunt with my bow but we’ll see. I have a couple fingers wrapped so I may be able get it back. If not I have a slug gun with red dot scope that’ll have to do.

You never know, when you want to repeat a bred pair that you made 2 years ago then you got it. One of my buddies transferred all his records to a laptop 6 years ago, then 3 years later his laptop crashed with no backups ever saved. He went back to old school because it is fail safe. Now his years (20+) of breeding is gone, I can't laugh because I know how he felt with his stomach all knotted up. When I split up with my first wife in the late 80s, I was working on a drilling rig in the gulf she trashed all my records before I could get all my belongings. I sold or gave away almost all of my fowl except some special trios I took to my brother and one best friend. No one will ever breed the same as you, ever! So if you can find a buddy to share your broodfowl with y'all can trade out stags and pullets later down the road, it's almost like making a cross but with the same blood.

Very good info, I can remember every bird and marks devoted to their particular bloodline. I've used similar markings for each line i have for over 50 yrs (w/deviations for rinkles in particular lines)'
It might be i don't raise as many as others(lol) i don't know.
I keep paper records, wing-bands, toe-marks, leg-bands, and etc. Which I seldom look at, only when writing it down, except to show others. These records can also be lost, so the brain and mental set of gamefowl keeper is vital:cool:
