It almost looks like she has lacing on the feathers back by her tail. Is that typical? I don't think I have ever noticed that.

I don't know I think all my grey hens are like that but I haven't paid that much attention

I am new at this whole sexing eggs thing... You are probably right!

I can even tell what breed it is. Takes a bit of practice but i believe I’ve got it mastered.
If wrong it’s usually cause there was obviously one in the woodpile.

Not him. Mini's dad is my wild type with straight comb.
