Yeah I had my nephew handling for me, his adrenaline was pegged out. I was hoping he would get a W under his belt, lol he hasn't stopped talking about yesterday yet, I could only imagine if would've went 4 straight.

Passing on good.

My mentor from in the day. Now his son and grandson is handling for him. 3 generations going strong at the same time

Hi everyone, just checking in as it’s been awhile. I have been too tired of recent to hit the net for chatting... so updates on the Not Game hens... they did not fight at all through molt this year, high protein diet and free range time increase during the winter and bigger pen/coop with high perches has improved their behavior towards each other. The dark one did attack me during molt though, just once not sure why she lunged at my hand... but now she is back to following me around like a dog. I think they get cranky during molt. The lighter blue genes hen’s feathers seem nicer on the higher protein diet too. Hubby wants feathered footed birds next... again not game. Sigh. But that’s okay I will just keep dreaming for the day I can keep a few Games. Maybe I can find something on my wish list too.

I think only one hen has started laying again, unless someone is hiding their nest again.

BTW love the hens with spurs.

I hope everyone is doing great. Hope all your breeding dreams come true... :)
