I use a UPS with mine just in case the power does go out for a few hours.

It actually snowed a dusting last night. As far as I know our power and theirs stayed on.

That’s mostly the reason I recruited broodies. Weather here in the spring can pop up fast and violent and we lose power
Downfall of broodies is if their electricity goes out it ain’t coming back on

Obviously you can’t do numbers like incubators but that’s fine with me
