Here we go out a lot. Woodcock annoying penned cocks in pasture. Daughter and I dawned camouflage to watch displaying males.

I use to go out at night in the pasture with a light and a fish net and catch as many woodcocks as I could tote back, this was years ago when I was in highschool. I decided to catch a skunk one night, believe me I don't know why. He didn't get me but just being in this vicinity was bad enough.

I have at best between 15 and 20 woodcock on about 18 acres so they are hard to catch with net, even when you can walk up on them before they flush. Unfortunately, skunks are easy to catch. Dog and I caught one about 4 years back. I got juiced from close range while dog that did the catching did not get touched. He knew how to make quick kill without being sprayed.

Why kill the skunks? They eat grubs. Beetle problem and your out killing one of the animals that eat em

I like to choke out hogs on my free time then rehome them on somebody else's property because mother nature
