Another snake story today. Dog and kids found an Osage Copperhead. I got some work ahead convincing daughter to leave such alone. This one right behind barn. Son noted dog had something on ground she kept backing away from. We caught it for photographs then released.

Dog got bit by snake. Second time she took hit from darn copperhead. Waiting on vet to instruct. Hopefully just benadryl like last time.

Dog is going to suffer some pampering by kids. Knew something was up when she went inside and jumped on bed. Wife out of town so we will get away with it.

Hope the pup is ok. My Doberman sleeps in bed every night. He tries to kick me out. B*stard even uses my pillow.

We are sleeping as dogpile; dog, me and 2 kids. Toads singing so loud sleep difficult.

Dog is coming back up. Actually went outside to "use the yard". Will keep her cool for next couple days and not allow here to patrol until infection risk controlled.
