yep for gar and whatever else except speckled trout for some reason those are a nono. That's crazy how they just look like logs floating around.

Oh I don’t know. The samicks are relatively cheap. Not sure about anything else. I don’t really understand bowfishing. Down there your eating them. In a lot of places they bowfish carp. Doubt they eat that but maybe they do.
