Oldest pullet from my white kelso pair.

How old are the birds in your white kelso pair? Sometimes birds get whiter as they age.

This bird was born from a bator and was a mid to late march bird and my others from the same pair that the hen hatched were late April early may sometime.

And yeah I've noticed that with age the Wheaton/white ones develop more white at a decent rate.

Out of my Leonard Bryant kelso cock over that hen they produced 3 white (one stag got ate) two reds and a grey throwback first year putting the two different families together. Hopefully and most of all it's a good nic in the end we shall see.

If you are talking about the chick in the center at the bottom, it reminds me a lot of the New Hampshire Red coloration chicks. I would be curious to see the adult.

If female, then chick referenced above will look like pullet below. Grey version would be nearly solid white where this one is brown.
