I have these two girls as well. I was told these are the very first hens to look like this in all of the last twenty years. Hatched out last spring from a red hen and white with red roo that passed (horse knocked over another roos pen, he got out and they fought and both of them died, it was awful)..
They are mostly white with red coloring. I am pretty sure one of these is the mother of the completely white chick I have.
Both of these white hens started laying in late November, and have been broody since February..together they have hatched out at least 40+ chicks!
Btw, she was actively brooding and sitting when I took this pic so she's all puffed up..
what do you do with all them chicks I only hatch out 30 to 40 from all my hens and I still have a hard time selling my fowl seems no one around my area wants game fowl and if I take the fowl I have left over to the auction I may get $15 for a roo and I have way to much money in them to do that. shoot I have 250 in the 12 chicks I just ordered from high noon hatch

At this moment in time I have 79 chicks all under three months of age. Not all are gamefowl, however, I breed Salmon Faverolles, so all of my Salmon eggs go under the game broodys. I have just over twenty game chicks (but I do still have eggs incubating under hens).
The games I haven't really thought about selling. The free range flock here had a very bad year with a lot of losses. They built a large housing development right next to the ranch and the predators quadrupled in amount. So I'm basically building the numbers back up. Not sure if I will let them be a free range flock or not.
I network with a lot of chicken people online, various facebook groups, some local, so when I do want to sell birds i advertise a lot. That and craigslist.

These little babies are three weeks old tomarrow.

I live in southern California and there is an over abundance of Gamefowl. If I try to sell a rooster or chicks on craigslist I have to compete against 15 other people who have "pure breeds" from some name brand farm. Or so they claim.

I dont care about making money, I just want my chickens to have a good home... but the problem is if I post cheap chickens I get the lowest scum on earth calling me. Illegal cockfighting is very popular in my area and I am always worried my roosters will get into the wrong hands.

I have been thinking about that too. I think if I do decide to sell the games I may stick to pullets.
And not to plug, but I live in Jacksonville, Florida if anybody wants to buy any! :)

This may get deleted but here's some insight on people buying them to fight. Number one if u sell pullets sell them as mixed game pullets. People in the illegal are looking for specific pure or cross cocks and hens. If u want to deter the illegal activity claim u don't know what breeds they are they're just mixed games someone gave you case closed don't answer anymore of their questions. Stags and cocks are harder cause obviously they have the looks. In your ad put dunghill game mixes. Dunghill means that they won't fight they'll run like regular chickens. Once a person looking to do illegal activity sees the word dunghill they won't want it. Hope this helps take care. U can also put dunghill for the pullets as well

Very good advise. I've always just been so proud that I try to talk them up... but doing the opposite would get more backyard chicken type of people.
