I’m positive where they are coming from. From the woods across the street. They might be just inside the wood line on the side of my yard stalking birds but all the evidence shows them being nailed out in the open grass on the side of my house. Not one feather near the woods or a trail. I’ve walked the road down to some fields looking for any sign but found nothing.

You ain’t the only one that’s lost birds. I lost 7 birds in 1-2 nights. C

Sorry to hear that! I like letting the birds roam, but don't like the losses. I closed the gate to the run, so I feel better and the birds fly over the fence, so they feel better.

Bobcats are critter that I have dealt with during day most likely to take bird without leaving feather sign.

I have feather sign where birds were caught. I’m talking about where they went with the bird back through the woods.

I’m thinking about setting up a trip wire with claymores.

I did. The woods are thick with brush and overgrown brambles. I’ve hunted and trapped these woods for the past 10 yrs. I will look again tomorrow though just in case I missed something.
