I found a guy who supposedly has the real deal, but when I contacted him , he was very abrupt. Denied he ever kept Wingates and asked who gave me his number, finally told me I don't need wingates because I'm an amateur....true story lol

I'm sure there are some hardcore vets that have an old line or two they maintain and keep to themselves scattered across the States. Without a doubt.

They would have had to add something to them numerous times by now rendering them something other than Wingates. I’ll quit raining on your parade though.

If you read back though some history it’s been said that modern day “wingates” look nothing like the originals. I really don’t care either way but I bet when you find one it will be riding a unicorn.
