Sdm111 took me pig hunting and I swear he was trying to get me bit by a damn snake. No shortage of snakes in Louisiana.View attachment 1544575 #6this year. I hope to have 11biddies of my red quill in about the next week so I can't have that slithering around
The h*ll with that. I don't mind a snake in the woods as long as it sees me and moves away from me. If it stays where it's at, puts up a fight, or comes toward me it's a dead snake. If it's on my property and I see it then yet again it's a dead snake as I have my 3kids, wife, birds, and dogs.Sdm111 took me pig hunting and I swear he was trying to get me bit by a damn snake. Huh?Yeah or he’ll tell on us again.
Don’t pretend it wasn’t you that told on us. Lol
We only have timber rattlesnakes and copperheads here as far as poisonous snakes. The rest don’t bother me and I’ve never even seen a copperhead. I have seen quite a few timber rattlesnakes and had one real close call years ago on a camping trip. He probably would have killed me if he bit me. I stepped over a log and couldn’t see what was on the other side (idiot) and stepped down inches away from a full grown coiled up black phase timber rattlesnake. I’ve never been so scared in my life. I was miles away from the nearest road and down in a ravine looking for wild trout. The h*ll with that. I don't mind a snake in the woods as long as it sees me and moves away from me. Long story short I wont kill them since that bastard probably could have killed me but didn’t. So we have an understanding.
I was really just visiting and screwing around fishing and trying to get a pig with my longbow on a nearby refuge. No bait, guns or dogs. I really only duck hunt with a gun.To each there own I reckon. Was yal pig hunting with dogs or guns
I need to get some fresh pics! I culled pretty hard lately. I think the pullets came out better than the stags this year, so I don't have much to share pics of.Yeah or he’ll tell on us again.
