I've got a doe one little one an two yearlings that bed with the goats. Now some may be ok with baiting some may not but I'd rather set up a shooting lane with feeder and have a clean shot without the bullet going somewhere I don't want it to once passed through a deer. Especially at the place we're at now I have about two decent options hunting on my own land I just have to pay for the tags don't even need a license. There is not a lack of deer and hopefully I'll get enough in the freezer again to last another year.

The stalking type hunting is a cool concept I've done it when I first started out but I don't see myself doing much of it especially these guys that hike miles in hopes for an animal. Sitting still in a plywood box or blind for 6+ hours freezing my jewels off is enough for this guy.

I wear yellow to blend in with the corn and when one comes in I throat punch him so freaking hard. Then obviously he's down for the count and I put him out of his misery less meat wasted this way.
That’s not hunting. You need to perfect the ambush. No bait needed. Find a trail intersection and set up in guillie suit in camo spray painted lawn chair. Once a deer is within range one simple judy chop puts them down.
This is really only effective on spotted fawns.
