hay does any one here use the hovabator Genesis was thinking of getting one for next year but am wondering if its any good...

Yes sir, the Genesis works very well. I bought one a couple years ago and it's still going with no problems. I did find that the temp was off 1.5° using a mercury thermometer for a backup.

I use 2 of them. I use them as is with no extra thermometers or hygrometers. Probably the easiest to use of all of them for the price. I'm sure there are some better for much more $ though. There's a guy on ebay in Jacksonville that sells em the cheapest ive seen. $200 for the incubator and turner shipped.

I put these eggs in the incubator after a pullet abandoned them, so I candled them the next day and realized they were still alive.

I'll end up with around 20 pairs of choice brood, some of them will go free range at my brothers, the crosses will be sent to a friends place, and a few will be shipped to another friend in Kentucky.

thanks for the input that's my plan then I'm sure not putting one more egg in this little giant 9300 that thing is a death box sad really made in the USA ha p.o.s i got better luck with my chines knock off...

I actually have that setup, works very well out to 200yds after that the target is not detailed as good. It'll paint a outline of the target out to about 250
