I have certain roosters I'm breed on from I let my hens free range. so the roosters are on tie out cords... To me the hens do better free range instead of in pens but that's my opinion....

We are going to have a crayfish / catfish cookout Friday that I have to enable for some big whigs.. We will harvest crayfish very close to where eating is to be done. Bigger crayfish will be boiled Cajun-style while smaller will be fried midwestern-style. We can use term crayfish over crawfish because our mudbugs and good and big enough. We have crawfish too.


Slight problem is I am too low on totem pole to sit at the table.
