With all due respect shubun that's how fake birds get into someone's breeding program then down the road they could be chastised for something they had no part of and possibly a blemish they worked hard for a good reputation. If u don't know just say I don't know that will get more respect than a guess.

Yeah that makes sense. But you don't want to be too vague either.. "I don't know" could imply anything (is it a RIR x Turkey cross? or some sort of bantam?). The term Hatch cross gets him close enough to what the cock looks like, but still gives Alroy the chance to explain that he is unsure of the bloodlines. Gamefowl cross would probably be better (unless the cock is dunghill or has non-game blood in him.)

I use the term hatch cross all the time, which allows me to explain the crosses, if they ask. On occasion I also reference them to a known breed, for example, I would might say my "wild type" cock looks like a Blueface hatch., I would never attempt to sell any with those names attached, but it helps when trying to identify.

Hatch like like centra uses would be good as long as it dosent sound like an absolute cause even though someone uses the term fluidly someone else may lock on concrete. And then when u buy asil eggs and they come out frickin barred rocks the shock won't be so bad lol

He's got a black beak, brown red breasted, willow green legs, a white streamer, and straight comb. My guess is there is no Hatch blood, the closest thing there, is brown red, honestly your only way to find out is from the original breeder.

I must be going color blind cause I can't even see close to the detail y'all see. I know it's a chicken with a streamer that's about it I thought I saw yellow green legs but I guess not

There's really no point anyway no body but the breeder and maybe not even them will ever know.
