no kidding. What pisses me off too, is that they have 4 dogs in small yard, that the people never walk or even play with them. Those dogs just run around in their own $hlt all day long, cause they never pick up their crap. And it smells like hell every time I go out front. They pace back and forth along the fence line trying to scare/grab chickens all day long. Most the chickens know to stay out of the yard, but occasionally the chickens end up on the wrong side of the fence (usually in the morning jumping down from the tree).

I have a question for you fly pen. Does that cock have some asil in him somewhere down the line? I only ask that because ive noticed a few different breeds of gamefowl that sometimes have really long necks like an asil so this makes one think the gamefowl that show this long neck trait may have been from asil blood somewhere in their genes?

Just mine and zachs luck came home to two of our dogs that have never ever messed with our chickens to find that the have killed 3 of our hens and 10 doodles just for sport because they didn't eat them just killed them and left them layin... Lets say we are now two dogs short

Loyce DeRouen made the Cardinal Club Kelsos starting in the 50s in 61 he got some Kelsos, Murphys, Hatch Clarets and made 4 different lines, Machines, RORN, Jones, I can't think of the other one right now, but anyway there could have been something else added idk. If you look up these Kelsos there is some history on them but not any great detail of any other blood added. I know Most all pea comb fowl have some type of oriental blood somewhere in their genes. Loyce (Durwey)that's about as close as I can tell you how to pronounce his name.

So sorry... I know how you feel, I lose more chickens to dogs than any other way. I lost one this morning to neighbor's dogs. Unfortunately I cant train or get rid of their dogs.

I'd tell the neighbors that if their dogs kills another one if my chickens there'd be consequences.. Or pop it with a pelet gun every time its in your yard

Their dogs didnt get out... my chicken went into their yard... so I cant blame them, they are malamute dogs, just following instinct.
