Well I can't tell you to much but heres what I know. I got them 2 years ago from a fella who is know to have nice birds in the area.
From what I have gathered in my research the gold stripe on the wing or "blood wing" is a throwback that comes from sparks blood.
I like them very much.

No I have not, but I'm more than willing to try.

I do not know but have shipped many other organisms. I will look into it. Normally disease a concern but will look into how that is dealt with.

I ship eggs,I bubble wrap each egg and double box them,cost 15.00 to Florida from Pennsylvania and 18.00 to Washington state to ship a doz

Did you have to get them certified in some way?

At the post office they weigh and measure box and give me a tracking number.

I have a way of packing eggs that has proved to be very effective. U can ask fly pen or havoc. And no specific paperwork. Costs me 12.65 for priority med flat rate box can fit up to 24ish eggs each individually packed in NEW urine specimen cups with padding above below and around each egg within the cup. Kept upright in the box
