So here is one of my favorite stags that just started crowing, (or trying to) today!

And here's the progress on the hatch grey crosses.

Oh and here is that fuzzy cheeks game cross. He is still beat up a little lol.

There's a lot of games with blue legs and it can pop up anytime from whatever may have been bred into your chickens way back when. Just cause u have yellow or pearl does not mean that's what u gonna get 100% of the time. Color too give a perfect example. The Billy ruble hatch hens are "suppose" to be Wheaton. They throw brown ones but no body sees them only the Wheaton are bred and the browns are culled. If u desire yellow or pearl just breed to.that side. And my blues have blue, grey, green, and yellow legs. The yellow has not ever been solid it's always need sato with another color. And as u see with shubins stag he pictured a yellow leg Kelso over a green leg hatch made the greenish yellow hued legs

Yeah blue legs are cool.. I have several with blue legs and its just a result of color mixing. You could also set the blue if you wanted to.

Best hen I have is blue leg.

One of my favorite Blue legs bullstags from last year.

they broke the welds on the 2x4 wire somehow. no holes. that big momma coon is huge, one of the, if not biggest I have ever seen. I got one last night, I would call it a 35 pounder, it was traveling alone, I waited a few minutes after I first saw it to see if any others showed up. when I held it by its back leg, the nose hit the ground.
I could have multiple predator problems then, I've never seen a fox around , I live on French creek, it's like an interstate for those critters
I'll be on watch for the next few days at least, if I see a fox, I'll kill it. if I see a possum, I'll kill it. if I see a raccoon, it's dead.
sight alignment, sight picture, squeeeze.
