A few of this years Dom stags.And their sisters.All off the same hen and cock.Ended up with 11 stags and 8 pullets.

Nice setup and doms. Do those waters work well ? I use a similar setup but my waters sit on the ground outside the pens and get dirt in them when the birds scratch all around.

I got a leiper pullet that's half *ssed wanting to fight me when I go to feed her. She's in a pen by herself. Crazy bird. She kinda charges the wire and backs off at the last second. Lol

Yeah it's a brown red. I haven't decided yet if he'll even get a hen. He's already got 2 strikes against him. If he starts beating the hell out of a hen I'll pull his head off on the spot. After everyone is done molting I may give it a whirl and see how he does but not with that pullet, she's too young.

The RH I have he'll hit anything and everything including hens. The way I have to do it is I have to put him in the hens pen or he'll hit her. It's not a continuous thing but it's like he hits first and asks later.

Yeah I don't mind them showing who's boss, but if they start shuffling and wailing away on her then even I have no use for them.

I havent had a rooster beat up a hen in a long time... I got plenty of hen on hen aggression problems.
