Looks like a decent setup. Once you get it all done I'd like to see how you run the wires from the cameras.

To havoc but for Anyone that might be interested in survallance for their fowl. Received system today what's in the box:

one receiver/ Dvr recorder. Just like your basic cable box. Zoom, audio, wi fi to your smart phone I think comes with a mouse for stuff ( have to report on options later)

4 65' camera wires with power. Ima need 3 longer ones

receiver power supply kinda shirt bout 2'

mouse

4 color cameras with cool led. All metal construction heavy pretty beefy

compared to your basic ink pen not too big pretty low profile

setup disk and Manuel

What does the wireless option cost? My cameras would have to be a good 300 feet from existing router and a some sort of booster would be needed. I use a an older setup in lab but it is poorly suited for outdoor use especially at night as light sourced from cameras not sufficient to see pens further away.

I don't know about the wireless. One will be close enough with the 65' the others will probably have to be 125'. The shorter one will be on a power pole in my yard and the others will be on 4x4 posts. 2 will be on one pole and one on another. Ima put it all in conduit. The wire seems descent not heavy duty but should be ok in conduit. Well see

I don't think this is gonna be enough for what u need centra. This is just basic.
