I've got 2 - 6.3 lb smallmouth from lake Erie a few years ago, in the month of May they allow you to keep one fish per person per day.

If I was to ever move it would be a place with plenty of big bass and big deer. I have that now lol that's why they call it sportsmans paradise.

flypen have you ever fished for 4-6 pound smallmouth in 35 deg. weather in the month of feb. running over a rocky river thats a foot deep in a outboard jet thats my kind of fishing

the Susquehanna /upper Potomac and Shenandoah rivers are all within 10 miles from my house.

Guys, smallmouth bass are Centrarchids which makes centra love them for a variety of reasons, but unfortunately they are not AMERICAN GAMEFOWL!!!

If you are interest in such then go over to the North American Native Fishes Association forum (NANFA.org) or even pond boss. They get into other really cool and otherwise similar gamefishes.

Gonna be busy this weekend havoc. Got family coming in got our alligator sausage biscuits for breakfast for our guided duck hunt in the morning then to the gun show so a couple people can get their ar lowers to start their build oh and got the king cakes for the ladies since it's the start of mardi gras season. And that's just Saturday cause they have to leave Sunday.

That's a good point. But it's been a bit slow lately. No harm done. Well except talking about ones self in the third person.

This lil fella has come a long way since being a man fighter. Took centras advise on breaking him and he's officially a non man fighter anymore and I believe if this mean sob can be rehabilitated almost any can IF GIVEN A CHANCE and not just killed as a lot of people say to do with aggressive males.
