There are probably some benefits to knowing the bloodlines.... but I dont think judging the quality of your gamefowl based on someone elses breeding and fighting results from decades ago is good practice. There is no way to know if your birds perform the same or if they are even descendants from the original breeder (unless of course you purchase from original breeder).

I dont think word of mouth is reliable, especially when there is a financial benefit to lying. We all recommend asking the seller "what is the history?", but who knows if that guy is BSing or was BSed by the previous seller.

SDM was correct when he implied .. the only way to know is by "racing" that mustang.

If I was racing, I wouldnt care if I had a Saleen. I would want something that beats a Saleen. And when I could beat it consistantly, I would name it whatever I wanted.

Wish I still had my first vehicle a maroon two door 78 Malibu with a 350 and the old crager wheels 60's in the back tucking and skinnies on the front.

Haha just penned a guinea that hasn't been in any kind of pen for about two years. Man is he mad. Like a pinball.

Well, lol.. I want it to race if I need it to... Even after a racer retires, he likes nice cars that would do what it needed to.
Thinking about making a line, but I tried before with lacy roundheads and JJ Kelsos, it was tough, and never got uniform birds after three generations; and I knew what was in them!
These days, it's just pretty birds on the yard.
I'm breeding asil blood into any American blood on the yard though, just because...
The chicks I got recently look like Witchdoctors, and he's got Witchdoctors on his yard. My boyfriend got them for me and never got the names of what they were,

Then u really need to know where they come from. It does not sound like u want random fighting chickens so don't sell yourself short
