Oh yeah they were doves weren't they. Lol
I just thought about it cause I heard someone on my wife's side of the family raised homing pigeons for years. I think maybe I was looking at them in a magazine and was thinking that's what u had.

Would the doves stick around if I let loose?
I don't have a clue. My nearest neighbor has pigeons. They hang around his house. I saved one last year. I saw a hawk take it down and jumped outta the truck and chased it off.

All I know is the feed they sell specifically for pigeons and all is pretty expensive and they sh*t all over the place lol

Keep them penned on your place for a couple of weeks prior to release. Release from coop by opening door and walking away. I would do that late in the day. Most losses to hawks will occur near coop where pigeons do not have speed advantage. For me hawk hunting not a problem with free-ranging games below but games will show young or disabled pigeons no quarter,

I have two young game roosters who are currently with a flock of mixed other chickens.  They are all about three months old and the little roosters are starting to mock fight a bit.

At what age do I need to remove one of the game roosters so they do not hurt each other?  Can I leave one of the game roosters with the mixed flock, as long as the other roosters dont fight with him or does he need to be only with hens?

The other chickens are cubalayas, phonix, yokohamas, and silkies.

The game roosters are super smart-the most clever of all the chickens and they follow me around to get food and will eat out of my hand.  They are so beautiful!

However the cubalaya bantam roosters are the pluckiest-the run up to the Game and try to pick a fight with the game roosters who are twice their size, then haul butt when the game puffs up at them and they realize how much bigger they are.
the issue u may and should have with a gamecock with non game rooster is if they start fighting where layers will run and it's over the gamecock will Chase the layer down and keep fighting sorry I meant non games
