Came home to another mudflood yesterday. Miner blue got caught in empty cage and gate must have closed behind him. Poor guy. Would have only been in there for 2 hours or less while i was away parents house.

Hes fine just really wet. It was 95deg yesterday when rain started pouring and lightning about 3 miles from me. Flashflooding big time. My house survived well.

Confer with the pigeon racers on time for birds to imprint on a new location. Fledglings come back no problem but adults surely can be re-imprinted on a new location.

I thought they would stick around, considering the females have been penned for several months, since feb.
I have heard keeping for a full moon cycle for pigeons. But I don't think doves have the "homing" instinct.

They stuck around for a while just walking around on the ground in the yard. Then I went in to eat, came back and they were gone.
Mabye they'll come back..
