I've done that before but with the .22 yeah I need to get something a little bigger. There's just something special about the shotgun.
Besides I got all those fox/coyote shells I'm waiting to try. Looking for a bang flop at 65+ yds. We'll see, hopefully he finds one of them snares tonight. Just maybe the fat man will have left me a present in the morning.

Those dead coyote shells (T shot) will put pellets on paper at 70 yds. No lie. However your squirrel adventure sounds a bit like a tall tale. Lol

Yeah it was a mossberg 835 patternmaster long range choke and 3 inch (T)shot.

I apologize for posting pictures of games in this thread but my rifles are not a lot to brag about as most I have are close to twice my age.


Below is one of many hens that have little trouble working around. Another just coming off nest today is not so sweet as she switched back and forth from doing a Killdeer imitation and going for my face. Only difference is how those hens were handled as chicks.

Hen a bit dinged up because I failed to provide proper spacing between free-ranging hens in effort to conserve space around house.
