Ruble stag. Terrible pic but I ain't got a fancy camera.

One of my redquill stags is driving me nuts. He plucked the breast feathers from the other stag, separated them. Now after 3 weeks or so he decides to pluck the breast feathers of a leiper pullet. Dummy is about to get peepers.

duck breasts wrapped in bacon and grilled sounds pretty good right now. Hopefully for breakfast tomorrow. Gotta get u one of these blinds, gators will never know your there.

yeah but they brumate by the time I'd be laying in the marsh. At least before the first frost the skeeters or worse sand flies are terrible. I must be allergic to sand flies if I get bit once half my arm is hot and swollen. Breakfast sound a good though

I sure wish i could find Narragansett's books !!!! especially "The Best of Narragansett" .
Anyone that might know where i can find and buy them please let me know .

I had them in the 80's but made the mistake of letting someone borrow them (never got them back) .
Learned a lesson but it was to late .....

THANKS again Narragansett1 ..... i would love to see pics of your birds /
