Might end up with a bunch of birds that are a pain to raise yet still aren't really game. If you are crossing Sumatras with asils and shamo mixes how are you preserving the breed?

I think Sumatra's are like Cornish they may have been origenaly a sort of game but have long sense been bred with junk til they're worthless to anyone who wants pureline games, and like havoc said if your breeding them with shamos and asils how are you preserving the breed? You might as well save the time and just stay with pure games

ameraucanas came from aruacanas and colloncas, yet are an all American breed my freind

Rooster, SDM or anyone really... I would call these splash, is that correct? What color offspring do you see when you use these females and a splash male? According to blue genetics, all the offspring should be splash too, but I am not sure about the outcome with SDM's miners... Just thinking ahead for spring.
