Dissen is a decent bit smaller than mine I'll have to breed him to a larger hen. May have something in him affecting his size or May be a late hatch. I try not to hatch late eggs but have heard from numerous folk that they had problems with birds only growing about 3/4 size from hatching late.

I'm about 99% sure under 2lbs is considered bantam

I dint use anything tried flour just makes a mess. The guy that dubs mine dunks their head in a bucket of cold water to shrink the veins after

Americans range in weight for instance a redquill would be a lot lighter that say a grey. Between what flypen 4.5-6lbs. I don't weigh mine that's strictly a guess

I know my biggest were around 7lbs.. Most would be 5-6 I would guess. My Spanish is closer to 4lbs

That's too bad.  I never saw much about blues in the old books, to be honest, I didn't really see many other birds besides the Reds and Greys...  But when I saw my first Blue, I was hooked!

see cause the blues are considered the underdog by a lot of folk. But believe that's fine with me. For any older cocker on here that's been around the block, what y'all think of blues? Watch , anyone?

p.s. I totally expect y'all to say not so good things it won't hurt my feelings just trying to show someone how they're thought of

Seems like there is quite a range on the birds. I like some of the smaller birds, but they have to be properly proportioned.

Agreed, I have tried the flour and it makes a mess more than anything else. I think there are some coagulant powders available, but I have not tried them.
