thank you , I meant to ask ,will the black and brown red keep the blue legs? or does the color change as they get older? the 2 older pullets are in with the sumatras in the big cage

yea blue legs will remain throughout their life. Black probalby has slate (dark grey) legs, maybe with a hint of blue.

yeah I hate my rough wires.. looks really bad when I have to cover up holes with sandbags, plywood and added wire.
