Breeding for the sake of "preserving bloodlines" is just like breeding for color in my opinion. 

What is wrong with preserving a bloodline if it's a good one? Why not keep them up if you can? Nothing wrong with crossing birds but most still keep a few pure families for the sake of it just because they are a good family.

hatch x wldtyp is at home with the sumatras and a couple other hens
so is the lil back pullet

they are doing fine

lil jewel does not free range, im afraid her blue legs might attract predaters so she is in a cage till she grows a little. thank you again mr. jshubin
