Talking about the rain, I have had so much continuous rain the run off has washed ditches through my carport pens. I keep adding more sand and covering up holes where the water washed under the pen deviders, but I failed to check them this morning and one of my little Butcher/Grey stags (8 weeks old) was able to get under the devider into another pen with older Butcher and Albany stags(14 weeks old). Well you can imagine what my wife found this evening while feeding them. Seems like something will only happen to the ones you have plans for or needing feedback from, now you know why I hatched almost every egg that them 2 hens laid this year. Gamefowl are not trained to do this, they're born to do it.

The Sylvesters a pair was offered as a gift but I decided to pass didn't really have the room at the time. As far as I know there's 2 Sylvester hens and one lacy hen And between me and him we have 3 grey broody hens so we should be able to get some chicks in the spring.
