Thank you. Yep, three brothers...

I am trying wood chips. There is a sawmill down the road. Our soils get so saturated in the spring, so I put about 6-8 inches of chips in the new pens to raise them up above ground level a little. The birds really seem to like scratching in the wood chips.

Those chips look like they keep the wood clean of dirt/mud. Hopefully you dont get flooded like SDM, your chips might float away! Lol

That is a genuine red star. Don't ask me man my wife pulled up in the driveway one day with a box of em a few years ago. They lay eggs like a champ though. Whitehackle pullet behind the buckets.

Matter of fact the man that gave me my very first games was there a grey cock and hatch hen, hadn't seen him in 22-23yrs. He still has birds he was picking up a lil Larry Romero sweater pullet

Can you post some pictures of the whitehackle' so think I have a pullet mixed with a hatch.
