Silkies will set and raise plenty of chicks without the issues of gamefowl. For some a much better choice.

Not mine...they are just free load feed thieves ATM..... hoping this spring they'll become more useful. My best broodies are my game mixxes, specially my KK ones and for that I will always stand firmly that game birds are some of the best mothers.

Discouraging would be going outside to a murder scene of chickens fighting not being informed that the skills are set higher with these

I'd rather be as they say keeping it real than sugar coat it. After all they are fighting chickens. They have a tendency to you know, fight lol
