That has been my experience too.  They just end up mixing nests and eggs which doesn't work very well.  I was hoping there was some trick to it.

No luck here either. I've had two days worth of eggs in each box then they both started laying in both and mixed everything up. Furthest I've ever got.

I like the looks of this pen.  It will be interesting to see what hatches out.

Nope. Too closely related. Not breeding them. He just does an excellent job of keeping the peace with 5 pullets.

Hello, it's been a while since I've been on this thread, but I have a question. I might be getting a pair or trio of American games in a few months( idk what color but I'm partial to the mugs) and I've been doing tons of research and reading through this thread and so here's the question: do you think this will be a big enough pen for a pair or trio of American games? I'm obviously gonna add a shelter of some sorts and roosts and stuff, but is it big enough? Thanks in advance

definitely big enough
