She still has them, but luckily she spends most her time in my yard now. Hasnt lost one chick yet, except for a couple I was able to grab and place with my other chicks.

And that is the disadvantage. weight of the cord and getting tanlged also would cause problems.

the peacock is a bully. He'll get inches away from the birds on cords all but the rubles and my man fighting black just eyeball him back. Those however are a different story. They may be the only birds he's actually tried to peck though. Didn't work out in the peacocks favor despite the size difference lol

Actually the opposite I am trying for reds.using the white cause they not related. I have another white hen too unrelated to the other white hen I know someone that wants to send a pair of red CC to breed but I'm gonna wait and see how these come out. The mother of those is setting on about 7 now so after those hatch I'll decide weather to get the pair. I'd rather keep mine and his separate so we can mate the two unrelated next year.
I posted this before but this is a stag from the same breeding last year

The other white hen has to be single bred cause her shoulders are messed up from an overzealous roundhead

By CC Kelso is that Cardinal Club Kelsos? I would love to know where you got yours from or if u know where I could find some. We had some 1/2 Cardinal Club 1/2 Showtime Kelsos and those things were amazing crossed on our Albanys and Radios. We have one rooster left that is a cross.. 1/2 Radio, 1/4 Showtime, and 1/4 Cardinal Club. We lost the old CC/ST hen he was off of unfortunately and the man my husband got them from passed away I think.

Yes it is and I'll check but the person with them I highly doubt he'll get off any he doesn't let much out. I just have the one cock. I may get the pair for a while later depending on if I get any reds out of my breeding but I need to respect his wishes on not letting any out. Hopefully I'll get my reds so I won't need to use his so we can have separate blood for later. There are kelso in the gamecock right now but I can't remember what all's there

I completely understand him not wanting to let them out. We dont sell chickens either, dont wanna meet into our own blood. Lol

I'm not a big fan of grays but that Black Gray of yours is one good looking bird , he is built right , "balanced" and beautiful !!
