yep always did till they a few days old then it goes in a regular feeder. I like to get them scratching and moving soon instead of just pecking out a feeder. Make em work for it

Oh cool.. Apparently I am making it too easy on my chicks.. I put their crumbles in a dish and add a bit of water to it, to make it easier to digest. haha
