would a tom and peacock fight over territory?
oh interesting. I guess the peacock doesnt have fight in him... all flash and vanity. lolA year or so ago I had a bunch of turkeys and poults come into the yard. My peacock was eying up the poults for some reason. One of the bigger gobblers got in between them and just stood there. Finally the peacock just wandered away. My money would definitely be on the gobbler especially since my ruble can knock my peacock on his *ss with ease. Lol
They ain't fast enough. High station and long legs ain't so good when a rooster gets in close and won't let up.oh interesting. I guess the peacock doesnt have fight in him... all flash and vanity. lol
We have peacocks/peahens running around my town and they seem to be powerful birds (although slow)... they sleep on telephone wires and make loud noises. and their flight ability is pretty good. Just their size alone would make me think they could whoop a rooster, but I guess not.
hahaha. Thats funny about the MS stag. Getting hit the neck hurts no matter how strong/big you are.Out of all the roosters I have. Those two are the only ones he actually messed with. The rest he just stands inches away in a staring match.
Spring time breeding season he won't shut up second most annoying sound other than guineas.
collecting eggs and this guy walks by. Awfully bold since turkey season is open. Lol![]()
I got rid of my guineas a long time ago. I had one male that wanted to fight every stag through the wire. MS black got a hold of him too. Guineas are tough just very d*mn dumb.hahaha. Thats funny about the MS stag. Getting hit the neck hurts no matter how strong/big you are.
I can hear the peacocks from many blocks away (I am on a hill, so there are no barriers). Up close I could only imagine how annoying it would be.
The sounds of roosters dont bother me, but my goats are driving me nuts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They call for me all the time, and the baaaing sound they make hits that nerve every time. I end up just throwing more and more food at them to shut them up. I would gladly trade you for those Guineas lol
how do they do against MS black? Can they throw anything powerful enough to cause damage?I got rid of my guineas a long time ago. I had one male that wanted to fight every stag through the wire. MS black got a hold of him too. Guineas are tough just very d*mn dumb.
Not really. They can take a beating though.how do they do against MS black? Can they throw anything powerful enough to cause damage?
